The Wellness Directory is a platform that connects people with holistic health and wellness practitioners across South Africa. We provide a trusted space where users can discover alternative health services, wellness products, and practitioners in various fields.
Who can list their services on the directory?
Any wellness practitioner, holistic healer, or wellness-related business can list their services. This includes professionals in energy healing, bodywork, mindfulness, nutrition, and more.
Is The Wellness Directory free to use?
Yes! Anyone can browse the directory for free. However, practitioners can choose between free and paid listing plans to gain more visibility.
2. Listing & Membership Questions
How do I create a listing?
To create a listing:
- Select a plan that best suits your needs.
- Fill in your business or practitioner details, including services, location, and images.
- Submit the listing and complete payment (if applicable).
- Your listing will be reviewed and approved before going live.
What are the different listing plans?
We offer several listing plans, ranging from a free basic listing to premium plans with extra visibility, social media promotion, and featured placements. You can view the full details on our Pricing Page.
Can I edit my listing after publishing?
Yes! You can log into your account at any time to update your details, images, or services.
How long does my listing stay active?
All listings remain active for 365 days (1 year) unless canceled or renewed.
3. Payment & Billing
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept secure payments via Yoco, including credit/debit cards and Instant EFT.
Do you offer refunds if I cancel my listing?
Refunds are subject to our Refund & Cancellation Policy. Generally, full refunds are only available within 7 days of purchase, provided the listing has not been published yet.
How do I renew or upgrade my listing?
You will receive a reminder before your listing expires. You can renew or upgrade your plan from your account dashboard.
4. Privacy & Security
Is my data secure?
Yes, we take privacy seriously and comply with POPIA and other data protection regulations. We do not sell or share personal information with third parties. Learn more in our Privacy Policy.
How do I delete my account?
You can request account deletion by emailing us at directory@thewellness.co.za.
5. User & Practitioner Guidelines
How do I leave a review for a practitioner?
You can leave a review by visiting a practitioner’s listing and clicking the “Write a Review” button. Reviews should be honest, respectful, and based on your personal experience.
What happens if I see inaccurate information in a listing?
If you notice incorrect details in a listing, please report it to us at directory@thewellness.co.za, and we will investigate.
Does The Wellness Directory verify practitioners?
We do not independently verify practitioners’ credentials. We encourage users to research and verify any practitioner before booking a service.
